Even though the weather is more like winter, now is the time to register for Hunmanby in Bloom Best Garden Competition. Please apply to Trisha 891808 for the form. The competition is open to any sort of garden,large or small, front or back or both. Enter your hanging baskets and containers and all those who have an allotment or just a little vedge plot are eligible. So enter in with the fun and receive an award fo all your hard work. Good look to you all!

Hunmanby in Bloom are having a table top stall in Bayley Gardens on Saturday April 3rd.from 9am to 12 noon There will be an Easter Egg raffle and the village Brass will provide the entertainment. If it is raining we will be in the Community Centre. There will be lots of other stalls, so come along.

We are planting Bumble Bee freindly plants at the Hall Park Rd/Malton Rd cross roads at 10am this morning. Please come along and join us with a spade and trowel.

We had a great day last Saturday at the launch of H.I.B.into the National campaign at our primary school. Many thanks to all those who donated to the raffle , the W.I. who served refreshments, the School Choir, who were great , the Village Brass, the local Bloom groups and all who came along to make it a memoral day. Thank you Hunmanby Primary School for all your help & support.

At last the weather is better and the litter pickers have been out today. More work has been done in the Church garden and the new beds on Hungate Lane have been planted. Tuesday

A blue tit was seen investigating one of the next boxes that we put up in Bayley Gardens yeterday. Today there were two checking out the box. Fingers crossed that they nest. Will keep everyone posted on progress.
